A huge potential in know-how

My name is Matthias Kaelin and I have been working at Unilabs Dr Weber for 9 years. Currently, I am Head of  the scientific service for the german-speaking region of Switzerland. With Unilabs I have experienced a company which, slowly but focused, grew from a conglomerate of completely diverse small-scale labs into a large service entity. In this way, a huge potential in know-how as well as professional and human competence can lead to a common success, satisfied customers and a good working environment. We are still facing a lot, but we are on the right way. The researchers can contribute significantly by, instead of living in their scientific ivory tower, being part of the communication network, scientific collaboration, information exchange and consensus finding. This goal is what I want to help to achieve with the construction of the scientific services.
