Paul Hökfelt was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Unilabs in February of 2011. He is a member of the Compensation Committee. He previously held the position of Executive Chairman since November of 2007.

In February of 2011, Paul was also appointed Chairman of the Board of Clinique La Colline in Geneva, Switzerland.

In 2006, Paul Hokfelt was appointed President and CEO of Capio AB. He had been with the company since 2002, when he joined as head of Capio Healthcare France.

He was promoted to Senior Vice President and became a member of Capio's Executive Group Management team with overall responsibility for the French and Spanish subsidiaries in 2005.

Mr Hökfelt also led the Group's strategic development, overseeing acquisitions and new ventures at a corporate level. Mr Hökfelt has been active internationally in the finance and healthcare sectors for over 20 years. He served as Managing Director of Unilabs for 12 years as of 1988.

Khawar Mann is a partner with Apax Partners, the international private equity firm, where he specialises in healthcare investments.  His recent investments include the hospital groups General Healthcare Group Ltd in the UK, Capio AB and Unilabs in Europe and Apollo Hospitals in India.  

Khawar began his career as a lawyer with Linklaters in London specialising in Corporate Finance and Intellectual Property.  He then moved to Weston Medical Group PLC as the Commercial Director before joining Apax Partners in 2003.  Khawar is a Trustee of The Enterprise Education Trust and the Apax Foundation and is also a member of the Government Taskforce for Talent and Enterprise.  

He has a degree in Medical Sciences and Law from Cambridge University and also an LLM Master of Law.  He has an MBA from The Wharton School, where he was a Fulbright and Thouron scholar.  

Khawar was born on 15 October 1967 and is a British citizen.

Fredrik Näslund, partner Nordic Capital, joined Nordic Capital in March 2001.  

Mr Näslund has worked at Capio, most recently as Vice President, and was part of the initial management team building Capio into a leading European health care services provider.  

Fredrik Näslund holds an M.Sc. Degree in Applied Physics from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and an M.Sc. Degree in Business Administration from the School of Economics and Commercial Law, University of Gothenburg.

Mr Näslund was born in 1971. He is a Swedish citizen.

Tommi Unkuri is a Director at Nordic Capital, the international private equity firm. Mr Unkuri is specialized in investments in the healthcare sector and works with Unilabs, Capio and The Binding Site.

Mr Unkuri joined Nordic Capital in 2007, prior to which he worked for the international investment bank Morgan Stanley. Mr Unkuri holds a M.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Mr Unkuri was born in 1980. He is a Swedish citizen.

Bertrand Pivin joined Apax Partners in 1993 and was elected Partner in 1997. Bertrand specialises in Tech & Telecom, but also invests in Healthcare and Business Services. He has led over 20 investments, build-ups and recaps over the last 15 years. He currently sits on the Board of Capio, Amplitude, Vizada and IEE notably.

Bertrand started his career in advanced research for the Alcatel Group in France and then moved to the USA to oversee R&D and industrial projects for the US Telecom operating companies.

Bertrand obtained an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1993. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1983 and obtained an MSEE from Telecom ParisTech in 1985.

He was born in 1960, and is a French Citizen.

Steven Dyson is a partner with Apax Partners, the international private equity firm, where he specialises in healthcare investments.  His recent investments include the hospital groups General Healthcare Group Ltd in the UK, Capio AB and Unilabs in Europe.  

Steven began his career with McKinsey & Company in London joining Apax Partners in 2000.   

Steven graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Biochemistry before completing a PhD in Developmental Biology at Cambridge University.  

Steven was born on 21 May 1973 and is a British citizen.

Reto Heierli joined the Board of Directors in 2009.

Mr Heierli started his career at Klinik Hirslanden, Zurich, as Head of Accounting (1988-1991) and Head of Finance and Administration (1992-1994).

From 1994 to 1997 he worked as Head of Finance and Controlling for the Private Hospital Group Hirslanden, where he became sequentially Executive Director of Klinik Im Park and Member of the Executive Management (1997-2000), Executive Director Eastern Region (2000-2001) and CFO and deputy CEO, Member of the Executive Management and Member of the Board of Directors for the Private Hospital Group Hirslanden (2002-2008).

Mr Heierli holds an Executive Management Training from the University of Zurich, a Federal certificate of higher vocational education and training in Finance and Accounting and is a Swiss Certified Expert for Accounting and Controlling.

Reto Heierli is Member of the Board of the Swiss Association of private hospitals and he is chairman of the Foundation Council of the Pension Fund Hirslanden Group.
